Festival at the Farm kicked off their second yearon September 16-17 at Prowse Farm in Canton, Massachusetts. Under the direction of James Macdonald, this years festival was expanded to two full days and included some of the hottest jam bands on the festival curcuit as well as some of the finest national and local perfromers from a variety of music genres. A stellar lineup and the picturesque and ideal setting of Prowse Farm at the foot of the Blue Hills make the Festival and ideal way to close outthe season in New England. Craft beer and locally sourced food with plenty of room to dance and a variety of activities for kids also help make the festival fun for all ages and serious foodies in addition to music lovers. Festival goes were treated to two days of first rate music including stand-out performances by the soulful R&B legend Lee Fields, local folk star Ryan Moutbleau who was joined on stage by Martin Sexton, a high energy and funky set from Lettuce and rockin’ performances from the Wood Brothers and the Marcus King Band.
